We break down the split against the Cubs starting with the controversial Pete Alonso play at home, then move on to the dreadful performance against the Rays before talking about a promising pair of games against the Cardinals. Christian Scott's debut, the continued resurgence of Francisco Lindor, and hopefully a slump-busting performance from Alonso have us looking up just in time for a big set of divisional series. Plus it's the 8-year anniversary of one of the greatest home runs ever hit, so how could we be sad? We also check in on the Yankees for the first time this year.
